Fusing exotic Kurdish melodies with pop perfect hooks, Bryar Rzgar is an emerging singer-songwriter currently making his mark on the global music scene. His style is best described as pop or Reggaeton, though he is always pushing boundaries to create a fresh new style that is distinctly his.
To date he has released a growing selection of singles that have amassed him streams in the millions worldwide. He has a knack at connecting with listeners from all walks of life, with much of his songs talking on subjects like life, love and patriotism. Bryar is currently working on branching out into other styles like hip-hop and trap, something currently unheard of on the Kurdish music scene.
Inspired by artists like Navid Zardi and Chopy Fatah, the young artist has been immersed in music for much of his life. Growing up in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan he got into singing as a hobby at the age of just six. Much of his childhood was spent singing along with his father. In 2015 his brother shared his music to YouTube and it hit over a million views. It was from here that he realized music was the path for him and has since worked tirelessly to become a fully-fledged recording artist.
