Dilanar Yildiz was born on October 28th. She is the seventh child in a family of eight. She spent her childhood in a fun family atmosphere were music was never missing. Music is not a hobby for her but the most important truth and love of her life. It is a reason for existence.
She started her school life at the age of six and took part in the choir team in primary school. She participated in many cultural activities of the school and has always been the center of attention. Having a stubborn, active, successful and ambitious childhood, Dilanar completed her primary education at Yüksekova Cumhuriyet Primary School, Middle School at İstanbul-Avcılar Deniz Köşkler Primary School and High School at İstanbul-Avcılar 50 Yıl İnsa High School. Then she started studying singing, solfeggio and violin at Pera Fine Arts Gallery in Istanbul. She continued her singing education and was graduated on the same.
She grew up listening to the songs of dozens of ancient and popular stars of the Middle East, from Ümmü Gülsüm, the Egyptian singer, Meryem Xan’a, the Kurdish singer, Guguş’tan, the Iranian singer, to Asala Nasri, the Lebanese star. Because of this, the Middle East spirit is felt immediately in her music. Her music is also a solid indicator of a regional indigenous stance. Her compositions and lyrics in the popular music category have been read by many artists.
