Halwest, a Kurdish singer, was born in Halabja Governorate of Kurdistan region of Iraq. As a kid he started to sing at the “Children Music Band of Halabja”. He had his first music video “Be To” broadcasted on TV at 2002.
Halwest released two original albums, apart from various singles , the first album “BRO“contains 12 tracks. The second album “Tawanbar” consists of 13 tracks. Halwest has received several “Best Singer” awards for his songs in various music festivals in Sulaymaniyah.
